Description
Started working in a new office and was not happy with the height of the monitors. I felt better making my own stands rather than pay a lot for something that was not perfect for my needs I made these to be a perfect fit.
Use any timber available as a top board.
Printed parts and finished stands can also be purchased from 3DOM Engineering (3domengineering.com.au).
It is a simple concept three part leg. The top has holes for three 6G screws (I used 6Gx18mm Pan head). Screws could be omitted and glue used if preferred.
The bottom is there to close the cylinder nicely. The extension or middle pieces can be stack in between the top and foot pieces to adjust to the height you need. The bottom can connect directly into the top is only a short lift is required.
The change in eight is as follows.
Top piece = 30mm
Each extension piece = 30mm
Foot piece = 7mm
There is a spacer gauge included. This was just to keep the distance to the edge of the board consistent.
