The LightControl Add-on is an innovative accessory designed specifically for the DJControl console by Hercules. This system clips easily underneath the console without modifying its structure, allowing for quick, tool-free installation.
It features two main functions:
- Front Light Effects: Dynamic LEDs positioned at the front of the console project lighting effects that can be synchronized with the music, creating an immersive visual experience for the audience.
- Button Illumination: A subtle yet effective lighting system illuminates the buttons and controls on the DJControl, ensuring perfect visibility even in the darkest environments. This helps DJs stay precise and responsive during their performances, regardless of ambient lighting.
The system is designed to be compact, lightweight, and powered directly by the console (not verified) or via an external USB port.
Next Development Steps:
- Remote Control: The integration of an ESP-type board is planned, allowing the LEDs to be controlled via a smartphone using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. This feature will give DJs complete freedom to adjust lighting effects in real time without the need for additional equipment.
- Design Optimization: The current design is still under development and may undergo adjustments to improve ergonomics, aesthetics.
