Diese Pfostenkappe hat nicht das Standardmaß für die Rohre von Verkehrsschildern u.ä. von 60 mm, sondern 50 mm Innendurchmesser, geeignet für die Pfosten von z.B. Gasschildern wie auf dem Foto. 
Umlaufend ist eine kleine Wulst, siehe Bild vom Querschnitt, welche die Kappe an das Rohr klemmt. 
Ein Standard Flaschengewinde (PCO 28) ist eingedruckt, man kann also einen PETling direkt ohne Deckel an die Kappe drehen.

This post cap does not have the standard size for traffic sign poles, etc., of 60 mm, but instead has a 50 mm inner diameter, suitable for posts like gas signs as shown in the photo. 
There is a small ridge around the edge, as seen in the cross-section image, which holds the cap firmly on the pipe. 
A standard bottle thread (PCO 28) is integrated, so you can screw a PETling directly onto the cap without a lid.
