Bio-Vase - Decorative Vase design - Fiberlogy Collection

We are introducing to you a whole new collection of vases available for free! This is the effect of a great collaboration with Fiberlogy. They invited us to test their new filament series and share the results with you! So here comes the first out of 4 new vase designs!

This design is inspired by bio-structures, like the arrangement of cells and other organic components.
 

Used Filament:

This model was printed using HS PLA Clear Orange from Fiberlogy.

The HS PLA Clear is designed in such a way that it can easily print with very high speeds, reaching up to 900mm/s, cutting the print time in half in most cases! In our test print the filament printed very quickly and nicely through the whole model without much issue. The end result (as seen above) is spectacular! The vibrant colour, the clear details and the amazing shine combined with the level of translucency of this material is a miracle of its own.

We really recommend testing this one out on your own and see the amazing results!

Tip - keep in mind that, as other translucent PLAs, the filament tends to be quite brittle, so we recommend unloading and storing the filament safely when it is not in use.

Print information:

• Recommended vase mode or semi-vasemode settings (0% infill, 0 top layers, 6 or 7 bottom layers, 2 or 3 outer perimeters - for a stronger print)
• Recommended using a lower layer hight (0.1/0.15mm) for better results in details
• Prints very good in any filament
• The model is scalable to your liking
