Description
I like to use low-level filtration while printing and want to prevent cooler ambient air from directly hitting the heated bed. I intended to close the two large slots directly in front of the door for this purpose.
The goal is not to make the enclosure airtight but simply to prevent the airflow from directly reaching the model. When printing with Nylon or ASA, this reduces the risk of warping.
The print is a mix of TPU and PETG, with the first three layers printed in TPU and the last seven layers in PETG. I used here a very soft TPU (A60) but it does not need to be that elastic.
The material consumption is only 25 grams, and it can be printed easily while lying flat. I mounted the seal from the outside, but it can also be attached from the inside.
I changed the 8 srews fom M4x8 to M4x10. Maybe it also works with to shorter screws.
