Portable 10 GHz Radio Housing

This housing is designed to hold a Kuhne MKU 10 G5, 3 cm transverter, and a small horn antenna. Additionally, it features a slot for a Talentcell 3Ah battery. For the battery, a barrel connector on a cable is required to be glued into place to ensure proper alignment.

Brass, threaded heat-inserts are used to hold things together (4mm hole for 3mm screws). The bottom features holes for ¼-20" threaded inserts.

Antenna mounting within is left as an exercise to the reader, as it will depend greatly on antennas and waveguide transitions, etc.

I used 3mm walnut plywood for the front panel, but it can easily be 3D printed and customized to your particular interface/connector plans.
