Description
This is a replacement key fob for the old autopage XT-59 fob from the early 2000's that always break over time. Just swap over your old circuit board and internals to this one and you are good to go!
There is some hardware you need to make it look the way mine does:
2mm x 9mm brass rod for keyring
m2 x 12mm screw
Two m2 x 4mm screws
But if you don't have hardware you can make it work fine without it, I have a version of the fob that doesn't require a brass keyring rod, and for the screws you can just use a weak glue (like a dot of hot glue?) between the two case sides, they already snap fit together I just wouldn't trust that they would stay together without a little glue. I also painted my buttons with some cheap applebarrel walmart acrylic, you can choose to do that or not.
Printing instructions:
The Fob can be whatever hard filament you choose.
The buttons have to be printed in TPU to work right (they need flex). There are also 4 little button pods that are separate that you need to glue under each button on the bottom side (Pictured above). But you can also just use the rubber buttons from your old fob if you want too, they are an exact fit and already have the bottom pods attached.
IMPORTANT: Keep the old plastic button holding frame from inside your old fob (Pictured above), you will need that to support the buttons as I didn't model a new one
