Artist's Paint System: Wall Paint Racks, Brush Cups, Water Cup

This download includes two variants of a Wall Mounted 3x3 Paint Rack suitable for holding large artists acrylics and similar. Each paint slot is 66mm/2.6" in diameter and 100mm/3.94" deep, suitable for large 8oz paints, or multiple smaller paints. One variant has wall mount tabs external to the paint slots, the other hides them inside two of the paint slots.

It also includes both a tall and short paintbrush cup and a water cup in a fun, slanty style.

The paint rack is suitable for printing in FDM on a print 10" (254mm) printbed. The cups are significantly smaller.

I printed mine paint rack on a Bambu Lab P1P in FDM with 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, and a brim enabled. I used 5 "Bottom shell layers" to increase the wall mounting strength.

This is a large print with a thick bed that causes a lot of upward force to be put on the bottom layer. Adhesion can be tricky. I was unsuccessful with a bare textured PEI plate. I was successful with a Cool Plate + Gluestick. I recommend printing with some kind of glue to ensure the edges don't try to pull up.

Also note, this is a large print, be aware of how much filament your print settings will take and adjust accordingly. It is very close to 500g (half a roll) of filament and so, if you are careful you'll be able to get two paint racks out of a single filament roll.

As in the photos, it looks amazing with rainbow filament.
