Description
Most of the modifications I made are possibly due to my printer not being super great on dimensional accuracy. The source case model file really seems to have tight tolerances. Maybe this was due to my printing the model files at 0.2mm height. Regardless, this took WAY too long to design, considering that I had a freecad file as a starting point. Main modification is changing the uneven chamfers on the top and bottom edges into fillets.
I had the grip section printed in black tpu. I printed the touchpad cover in black sainsmart tpu. Silver sections printed in fillamentum rapunzel silver.
You may need to sand the SD card tray opening to ensure it opens cleanly. Volume buttons will sit more flush: you may want to use a piece of electrical tape on the inside to stick these to if you don't want them to rattle around as much.
If you don't want the raised circular section in the middle of the touchpad cover, flip the model over on your plate and print it with that section below plate height.
Use stock buttons, power switch cover. I swapped stock screws for:
A split version of the grip insert is included if you want to print it as 2 halves and glue them together. Otherwise, an untextured version of the grip is also included here.
