Ergonomic Cat Cardboard Scratcher Tool (Supportless)

The Ergonomic Cat Cardboard Scratcher Tool is designed for cutting cardboard strips approximately 33mm in width, perfect for creating custom cat scratchers that can be flipped and used a second time once worn down. The tool securely holds a standard utility blade and features an ergonomic handle for comfortable use.

Instructions:

Print the model in your choice of filament. No supports are necessary. 

Insert a standard utility blade into the model and mount using screws (M3x12). Use heat inserts if desired.  Please be careful!

Feed the cardboard box through the bottom of the model. Hold onto the tool firmly and slide until the tool reaches the end of the cardboard and strips are made. Repeat. 

I have found that spiraling the cardboard strips using hot glue works well. One strip of glue down the center is enough to keep it in place. Some extra glue at the beginning and end of each strip is helpful.
