PSA : Chain Planter with Drip Tray

PSA → Chain Planter with Drip Tray.

Testing converting curve modifiers that will not convert to mesh by exporting as .ply, autofixing on import with ms3dbuilder, then reinporting back into blender.  

Made with Blender and a Chain Link Geometry Node.

PSA Hint: Many Curve Modifiers are set up so you cannot apply the modifier.  You may try and use Convert to mesh… But the model will just disappear. So Solidifying it to a model is impossible.  BUT YOU CAN EXPORT as a .ply and then throw it into ms3dbuilder and it will solidify automatically.  Export as .obj and .stl will not work.  Only .ply at this point.  Then you can Import that .ply model back into blender and mess with it all you want.

The model is butt-ugly. I really do not care much for what I ended up with but it served its purpose for learning.
