Description
I designed a set of steps to help my little tortoise climb into his winter/indoor tank. Also makes a great bridge. Designed for my Russian tortoise (Donatello), so the steps have a good grip pattern for his little claws.
Easily prints without supports. Splits into 4 frame pieces for easy printing on most standard printers. The frames should be orientated with their inside on the plate, the steps with their bottoms on the plate. The M3 holes to connect the steps to the frame have a 0.2mm layer at the bottom to allow for supportless bridging, they can easily be punched through after printing.
For assembly, it is recommended to use M3 bolts with threaded inserts in the steps. Otherwise, the steps are naturally quite a good push fit, so they can be held permanently with only a small amount of glue.
I used Marble, and Grass Green PLA by CC3D. 0.2mm layers, 0.4 nozzle, Neptune 4 Pro.
