Horseshoe Phone + Tablet Stand

This stand was modeled as a gift using a real horseshoe as a template. The stand is designed to hold your phone or tablet securely at a comfortable 25° angle.

I tried to design the stand on condition that there are no overhangs that exceed 45 degrees so you can print it completely support free.

Because the reference model was authentic in shape and size the stand turned out big and beefy with the advantage that it even holds a big ipad in landscape mode (useful for video calls). I also tried a variety of mobile phones and all of them fit on there without tipping over or falling through the “gap” in the back. You can scale the model up or down according to your needs.
