Parkside 12V

This breakout is meant to put my X12Vteam Parkside batteries to work in other projects like inverters, solar charging, outdoor, lighting, motor, and remote cars… please remember that the battery is only secured with friction so don't hang it upside down. I used a existing model from thingyverse and modified it but I can't find the original anymore

basic instructions:

1. print in PLA, PETG or whatever
2. check tolerances, remove any sloppy overhang if necessary to clear path for nickel strip
3. use roughly 4-5cm long strip with: 8mm thickness +/- 0.15mm
4. ether cut the strip into 4mm with or use pliers to bend 8mm to 4mm
5. push threw the provided slots and bend as seen on the image. (easiest is to push from the inside and pull from the outside)
6. congrats you did it now just plug in the battery and use a multimeter to check if you get 12V

I used nickel strips traditionally used for spot welding to make the battery contacts and terminals.

beware this breakout does not protect against any accidental overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, reverse charging, short-circuit, or thermal protection… make it your own risk.
