Description

Inspired by the US General mini tool box from Harbor Freight, this 3 drawer mini side cabinet is for my 3D printed mini tool box found here: https://www.printables.com/model/1166804-mini-tool-box and 3 drawer base found here: https://www.printables.com/model/1166916-mini-tool-box-base

It has optional rails for mounting on either side of my 3D printed 3 drawer base, or rails that do not mount to it. You can use some adhesive magnets for holding it to the side of your metal mini tool box if you choose.

Important for correct fitment with my 3 drawer Mini Tool Box Base: There are 2 different versions of this base because I made a slight change to my 3 Drawer Base to reduce filament usage, which also reduced the height somewhat. I uploaded this change on Feb. 8, 2025. For this Side Cabinet, V1 fits any Mini Tool Box Base downloaded before that date and V2 fits any box downloaded after that date. If you downloaded the Mini Tool Box Base on that date or want to double check which one you need, check the thickness of your Mini Tool Box Base at the very bottom. V1 is 10mm and V2 is 5.5mm. I've attached a photo to reference on where to check.

For those printing with the BambuLab AMS or similar units, print profiles with the color changes incorporated are found on my Maker World here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1120209#profileId-1118442.  All support settings are preset in the print profiles as well. For the drawers, I recommend auto tree supports, for the base, manual normal supports set to snug will use the least amount of filament.
