Description
I don't have a ton of tool storage for printer-related stuff, so I whipped up a 5x2 gridfinity (created by Zack Freedman ) base to store the tools I use the most directly on the side of the printer. Thanks to @desaster_239093 for the original v-slot mount point model.
You will need 2x m5x8 screws and t-nuts to mount it to the v-slot.
Gridfinity bins from photo (thanks to those who created these models!):
Print with your material of choice, no supports needed, don't use a brim unless you hate yourself.
Thanks to Zach Freedman, who introduced the world to Gridfinity, and then set it free for everyone to use. Zach Freedman's work is available on Thangs, and you can find examples of his Gridfinity designs here and here, which are available under his MIT license. If you like this model, or want to learn more about Gridfinity, you can check out Zach Freedman's YouTube, or you can support Zach Freedman's work on Patreon (patreon.com/zackfreedman).
