Description
Batteries for Wouxun KG-UVD1P (and similar handheld radios) have small flaw: contacts used to power the TRX are exposed and storing batteries back to back may cause short circuit and fire.
As sometimes there are more batteries then pockets to store them separately, battery contact cover comes handy.
Two versions are provided: simple one, covering just TRX facing contacts and “full” one, covering also contacts used when charging (yes, they stays energized when battery is removed from charger).
Place model horizontally, full cover requires supports (latch notches and contacts cover), simple one only for latches (top part). No special requirements - prints OK with both 0.4 nozzle/0.2mm layer height as well 0.6 nozzle and 0.3 layer.
Two covers may be put together (adhesive, double sided tape, electrical tape, Velcro tape, …) for easier handling.
