Bit Holder 50mm

For 50 mm bits, with the snap-on-place lid to help secure and protect the bits.

I tried other models, but they always had a design flaw, to name a few:

• Lack of space to put your fingers between the bits when trying to take it out.
• Bad design of the bit hole, making it difficult for the plastic to flex and making it difficult to put the bit in and to take it out.
• Hole not tight enough to hold on to the bits.

I tried to design a smaller case, but the trade-off between space and usability wasn't good. I found one good model from @ZbynekKral. However, I had to make some changes, so I remade it from the ground up and added my idea for the snap-on place lid (nice click feel).

Pros:

• Nice click feel when closing and opening,
• You don't need screws or extra hardware to assemble it.
• Great space between the bits, so you don't have any difficulty when using your fingers to put the bits in or taking out.

Cons:

• Bigger than other models.

!!! Attention !!!

The .3mf file already has the supports painted in the necessary places and the right part orientation; the lid should be printed with the text part turned to the bed and the base should be standing up.

PS: I printed in ABS, with a 0.2 mm layer height, support for ABS is optional ( I used on the lower part of the lid, not on the connection ! ) . Any other material than ABS should work, check if support is needed. If you have any problems, let me know.
