Team Associated SC6.4 Front Bumper Support

This front bumper support for the Team Associated SC6.4 Short Course Truck will not break and has similar stiffness to the original plastic piece. Since it is made from TPU, it is extremely tough and the damping properties of the material will help absorb energy during impacts.

There are 4 slots to capture standard M3 nuts (5.5mm X 2.5mm), and the factory length screws will work (not longer).

There are 2 small spacers as well, which go around the screws in the shock tower (as the holes in the shock tower are larger than M3). It was easier to make these seperate pieces and have a clean TPU print of the main piece, rather than try and recreate the thin walls of these features integrated into the main part.

This way, the spacers and main piece can print directly on the build platform, with only minimal supports needed. I used Hatchbox TPU with 15mm/s print speed on all features.
