Geodesic Dome Hubs (3mm Dia. Bamboo Skewer Style)

My take on the hubs needed to make a geodesic sphere. I made this sphere to act as the outer cover for an RGB LED light ball. Essentially, I want to make a big ~60cm RGB snowball winter decoration. My plan is to wrap this sphere in cling wrap to serve as diffusion material as well as weather shield for the RGB light sphere.

To complete the sphere, you'll need 

60 sticks at 208mm in length (green in the pictures)

55 sticks at 180mm in length (red in the pictures)

I found that the simplest method to put things together properly is to first attach all the 180mm sticks to the 5 point hubs. Then connect all these 5 point stars together at their vertices using the 6 point hubs.
