Spiral Vase

I had this toothbrush holder with its broken cristal vase lying around, so I decided to print it a replacement one.

There are two variants:

• Spiral vase with straight side: this is model meant to fit my toothbrush holder. In addition to the spiral design at the top, it has a straight part at the bottom with the right dimensions for my particular use case.
• Spiral vase: A simpler version of the previous one. It is shorter and without the straight part at the bottom.

Print settings

Both printed in transparent PLA and with the “Vase Mode” activated.

This mode in Cura is called “Spiralize Outer Contour” as shown in the screenshot below:

In my case, with an Ender 3 Pro, I had to add a line of custom G-code to the print in order to archive a good surface.

The code is as follows:

M413 S0 ; Disable power loss recovery (for vase mode)

The uploaded G-code files do not have this line added because Printables would not let me upload it. If you use it, and your printer behaves like mine, you will not get a good print.
