Description

Dusty is here for you whenever you have any scraps of filament that need to be thrown away, or any other sort of small trash. He can also help you in case you need a place to keep your pen, as his hands are positioned to be able to hold on to one.

He's the perfect size to fit on your desk, and comes in handy whenever you have any small piece that needs throwing away. Here's how you can print one.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Infill: Completely Optional (I used 15% grid infill)
  • No supports
  • I printed this in silver PLA

NOTE: Make sure the pieces are oriented correctly. The body should be rotated so it is right side up, and there is a flat side on the head that should go on the bottom.

Assembly:

The body of the robot is designed to have a very slight flex, so all you have to do is bend the sides of the base apart just enough so the head can fit. Make sure the face is pointing the same way as the feet, insert the head, and find a place to put it!

To use, put any trash (preferably smaller scraps) in the mouth, close it, and open it again. The contents should have emptied to the bottom drawer, which you can pull out to empty any time.
