Description
I have a new AD5x printer and found a 24vdc LED JST-XH port on the main board. I also had a couple of Daylight on a Matchstick pcb lights.
I designed some slip in mounts to screw to the PCB lights and snap into the side rails of the FlashForge AD5x/m printers. They may also work with the Flashforge style of LED pcbs as well, but I do not have any at this time to test it.
There are version for heated inserts or for threaded plastic. There are 3 angles included. 90, 80 and 60. I am using a 60 and an 80 currently on my machine.
M3x5mm button head screws works for me. Threaded inserts are M3x4Lx5OD Voron spec. Start the bottom slot of the mount onto the raised lip of the side rail and push the top of the mount till it kind of snaps into place. Easiest way is to screw them to the PCB first, then mount. Mind the open slots in the framework and adjust your position as needed to avoid them. Also be mindful of the bed hardware near the leadscrews. You will want enough clearance to avoid the bed assembly hitting the lights.
To remove, take the PCB off the mounts, then then just slide the mounts to the open parts of the frame.

Here is a great diffuser for the Matchsticks to shield your eyes from being blinded when looking from the front of the printer. https://www.printables.com/model/378324-daylight-on-a-matchstick-light-deflector/comments
