Description
In need of a new bedside lamp I decided to design and print my own based on an organic voronoi pattern. Since I had a long lasting fascination with voronoi I implemented my own little program to create the voronois and export them as bezier curves. These were further refined in Blender and finally printed with a semi transparent PETG from Reflow filaments. The solid parts have been printed with a pretty standard grey PLA as a bit of contrast.
The corner parts are collected in one file with four long and four small ones. They are the frame for the voronoi panels and are simply glued together. The small ones create the top framing while the long ones make the frame on the sides. They provide some room below the voronoi panels for the cable to fit into the lamp.
The bulb holder is designed to fit E27 bulbs. I have used the following: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08KVVMVH1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The voronoi hull and the bulb holder are designed as separate objects simply so I can quickly get to the bulb. It has the benefit that the hull can be used in combination with other light sources too.
