These models are designed for easy dual-color printing, even on a single-extruder (color) machine. The lettering is placed directly on the build plate, allowing for a color swap mid-print. To achieve this, first print the lettering, then pause (leave build plate heating on), switch the filament, and start the second part of the print—ensuring z-hop is enabled (~1mm). Overhangs have been adjusted for flat printing. While dual-color printing in this way requires some experience, it’s completely doable with the right settings.
Especially keep in mind what your printer is doing at the start ("start Z-hop" with the point as shown in the picture) and keep in mind to maybe disable some starting routines.
Printed in PETG/ABS for enhanced durability and heat resistance, making them ideal for hot drinks. If you want to print just one, center both prints so the lettering aligns exactly where it should be. If you're printing multiple at once, make sure each piece is positioned carefully to keep the lettering in place.
