Description
The A.O Smith Hybrid water heater is supposed to report the input ant output temperatures to the heat pump. I did not find it, but do look into this before printing this.
The print will hold a SwitchBot outdoor thermometer close to the input and output vent to get heat and humidity metrics.
The device is part of a project where I will find the highest heat gradient between the crawl space, the roof and the garage.
According to heat pump documentation, finding the highest gradient yields the best energy savings.
This water heater already reports its energy usage on the app.
