Description
The spray lid for my Diggers Isopropyl decided it wanted to disintegrate after a few years. This print replaces the main part of the lid. I'd guess it's a lid & mechanism used on more than just this bottle though…
You'll need the pipe, pump and nozzle from the original lid. The cap and rubber gasket also fit this design.
Remove the pump from the old lid. It goes out through the top. It's tight so be careful not to damage it.
Remove the rubber gasket from the bottom of the lid. It's the same size as the bottle neck and sits at the top of the thread. I don't think this is 100% essential but will help seal the lid.
Insert the pump into the new lid from the top. It is a VERY tight fit. Use the pump insert tool. Ensure it seats all the way in. If the nozzle sits too high, take it off and press the pump in further.
Put the gasket onto the bottom of the lid and fit it to the bottle. The first time it will probably be tight.
The insertion tool can be printed however. Tolerances aren't important.
The lid needs to be fairly precise. I printed in PETG at 0.16 layers with a 0.4mm nozzle. Enable supports on plate only and I'd suggest giving a 3mm distance to object so they don't get fouled in the thread.
