Description
I use some heavy duty Grass Barrier 10" landscape edging in the landscaping at our home. It's a bit expensive, but it works great, stays in place really well and being so deep it prevents pretty much anything short of a tree or bush from getting roots through. I designed these brackets to make cleaner corners around certain features. You can theoretically fit other types of landscape edging in these brackets, assuming a max width of 1/10" or 2.5mm. Forgive the pictures above, I had to uncover the brackets a bit to show them off.
Making a corner uses 2 brackets per corner for the Grass Barrier linked above for a total depth of 10". For each bracket, you will need 4 ¼" or M6 bolts with matching washers and nuts and will need to line up and drill holes in the edging to affix the brackets. Each connector requires 3 bolts and matching hardware.
Make sure your materials are rated for where you're putting them! Print these out of ASA or a similarly outdoor-rated material and use similarly rated mounting hardware to ensure things don't fall apart. Done well, these will last practically indefinitely.
