Description

This button is sized L32 (20mm diameter) and has been designed to be scaled with the use of your slicer.

You have an infinite with the two colour change stops in the gcode, and use coloured thread to complete the cross-stitch effect. For a bit of extra zing and an enamelled look, clear coat with acrylic.

If you wish to print in multi colours please do NOT alter the Z height when scaling the model for slicing.

The printed examples and gcode have been prouced using a 0.4mm nozzle printed at the standard "0.1mm Detail" setting on Prusa Slicer, with top fill pattern set to “Concentric”.

Examples above are printed with "made for Prusa PLA Yellow and White and Prusament PLA Azure Blue and Galaxy Black. The example with the stitches is then finished with six coats of clear acrylic with no other surface pre finishing.

The photo with four buttons illustrates the differences between off the printer (two colour,  and white) ,and the clear finished two colour print.

If you wish to reduce the size of the button, the use of a 0.25mm nozzle would be advisable, but remember to keep the vertical dimension (Z) and number of layers the same so that you can make colour changes at the same points.

I shouldn't have to add, but I will,  that cold or warm wash only will ensure that your buttons remain buttons.
