Dustcover Hinge for Thorens Turntables

A redesigned hinge for Thorens turntables models TD160, TD165, and TD166 Mk II solving some problems with the original, with a similar look and feel to the original. Prints well with PLA.

Supports under the spring clip are required; use manual supports as pictured. Suggested print orientation and support locations are illustrated. 2mm layer height suggested. May be printed with PLA 15% infill and 2 perimeters but consider increasing both for added durability. 

Post-processing of the spring clip on the bottom hinge: After removing all support material, use a small screwdriver to gently snap the spring clip free, alternating each side from the top down. 

Clean away loose filament from the hinge area, make sure the top hinge can be inserted easily into the bottom hinge. After a few cycles, the top hinge should click easily into the bottom. If it does not, continue cleaning excess filament, and insert/remove the top hinge a few more times. 

It's not possible to test this on all variations of Thorens turntables which use it, so if it doesn't work for yours, please let me know!
