Husky Build-Out Tool Box Base Attachments

These accessories allow you to expand the functionality of the Husky Build-Out mobile toolbox system by adding custom attachments to the bottom of the toolbox. The cleats and corners securely mount to the underside, enabling you to attach accessories such as rolling bases, platforms, or securing mounts for transport.

Additionally, I have designed a clip that locks in-place into the built-in mounting slots on the bottom of the toolbox. These clips provide a tool-free method of securing the toolbox to custom bases, carts, or other surfaces, allowing for quick attachment and removal while maintaining a firm hold.

Two types of profiles are included for the feet on the bottom of the toolbox. One that sits completely under the toolbox and one that protrudes out to make it easier to mount. The profiles include a chamfer to help to guide the toolbox into the place. 

Each component incorporates locations for countersink screws. 

Print settings for each component:

• Cleat: 0.40mm nozzle in matte PLA with a layer height of 0.28mm. The cleat was printed vertically to give the greatest strength to the part interacting with the toolbox's clip. 
• Clip: 0.40mm nozzle in matte PLA with a layer height of 0.28mm with tree supports. A layer height of 0.28mm is strongly suggested. Using a significantly smaller layer height will make the operation worse and make removing tree supports difficult. 
• Toolbox Foot Profile: 0.40mm nozzle in matte PLA with a layer height of 0.28mm. 

There's now two additional stl models for the clip labeled by “tolerances-loose” and “tolerances-looser”. The original model was re-named as having “tolerances-tight”.
