Description
For the umpteenth time Ibanez SPT guitar preamp in my Ibanez PF60 acoustic guitar has failed... I don't want to deal with the repair again (or maybe I want, but don't have time now), so I found a cheap alternative that has as similar dimensions as possible. Unfortunately they are not quite accurate. To avoid having to modify the existing holes (in case I will switch back to SST), I printed a transition between the existing and new tuners. The curves of the plate therefore follow the shape of the guitar (original boxes) on one side and create a seating area for the new boxes on the other.
The battery hole did not need to be modified, I even used the existing screw holes.
I had to lightly sand the tuning hole and for the attachment I made a counter piece (2 pcs) to be placed inside the guitar.
