Description
Now with 100% less motor Mounts!*
The revised Body is through testing and now no longer requires fiddly motor mounts. The body works with both N10's and N20's, just clip the little tab out of the way if using with N20's. This works with PLA but is really intended to be used with TPU
Modulant is designed as a Beginner robot, with the capability to be built into a destructive robot as you gain more confidence in the sport. Accu has published an article on how to build one of these.
Some example configurations:
All parts are designed to be joined with 2.5 x 8mm Polyfix screws. I would recommend that wedges and armour panels are printed in TPU or made out of Polycarbonate sheet, with the printed templates used as guides. Depending on the configuration, Titanium makes a very effective anti-horizontal wedge, and with the addition of some acetate allows for a very effective ground game.
I've switched to using tapped M2 switches rather than an M2 Nut and bolt as it makes assembly so much easier.
If you're struggling to find parts, BBB sells a basic drive kit that works nicely with this robot!

Redesigned Lids for pusher based robots and Serrvo Based robots with battery access flaps added as per request - there are options for Left, Right and Double Openings.
Large Electronics Body uploaded - sadly only suitable for pusher configurations at this time, but it gives space for massive batteries or large control boards and sensors! find this in legacy parts.
