Description
Wanted a quick and way to easily make a seedling hole with a specific size and depth and automatically make spacing marks for onion plants going into our garden this spring.
Designed a quick garden dibble in Tinkercad that will allow me to make a planting hole that is 2" deep by 1/2" wide to drop in onion plants. It also leaves marks with the cone markers on the bottom in a 3" radius. Moving the dibble left, right, up or down 6" and aligning a spacing cone mark from the last planting hole gives me a 6" spacing between onion plants!
You can size this design up or down appropriately to whatever planting spacing you need or just keep moving it over in 3" or 6 " increments for your spacing needs.
