Description
I'm the kind of guy that likes a lime wedge in my Corona (or Sunbrew), but my wife insists I remove the lime from the bottle when I'm done. After struggling to remove a few too many lime wedges I learned that this tool exists, and I quickly whipped up my own version.
A very simple tool for fishing out lime wedges from traditional beer bottles. Simply insert the tool through the bottle neck, tilt the bottle so that the lime wedge is near the neck of the bottle, and slowly remove the extractor tool such that the hooks grab the lime wedge and force it out with the tool.
Printed in PLA, but would recommend PETG for better strength. Recommend at least 3 perimeters for strength, more is better.
Model does not have the text “Lime Extractor Tool” like in the photo, it can be added easily using PrusaSlicer. There are .gcode files with the text added for anyone who doesn't want to have to add it themselves. The MMU gcode file allows for two colors, the MK3.9 gcode has a color change pause added so that a color change can be conducted that way as well.
