Description
I received a MEC-GAR magazine .45 Auto 8-shot that did not fit into my PETERS STAHL 1911 pistol. The magazine wasn't fully insertable and therefore did not lock. After some investigation I found out that the original bottom pad was too thick and wide for the magazine grip funnel. I created a replacement bottom pad that fits the slope of the pistol funnel.
Printed in PRUSA PETG anthracite-grey with support on the printbed only.
My magazine had no screws just a metal sheet with a pin that locks into the bottom pad. Works quite well. The bottom pad rails are quite fine and small but hold the pressure when the magzine is fully loaded with 8 rounds. Sturdiness needs to be proven over time in case the magazine may get dropped accidentially.
