Description
This jig, guide, or stencil is designed for precisely trimming the corners of wooden sheets using a router, either to a specific radius or a 45° chamfer. It offers a range of radius and chamfer size options to suit different needs. The sturdy base plate can be securely clamped to your workpiece or workbench, ensuring stability during use. You can also just clamp everything to your workpiece and use the jig on your router table. Interchangeable corner pieces allow for quick adjustments, with each piece clearly labeled for easy identification.
Naming:
R = radius, C = chamfer, followed by the size in millimeters.
Print done in PLA, no supports needed. The parts should fit flush without any post-processing. I have printed the base and the corner parts separately.
Do you have any issues or any suggestions for improvement? Let me know.
Inspired by the following models, however created again from scratch to eliminate the flaws of the other models, to add various size options, and to adjust the model to my own needs.
