This custom-designed Tamper Station is the perfect companion for the Umikot 58mm planetary gear espresso tool (Umikot on Printables). It offers dedicated slots for:

• Dosing ring/funnel
• Tamper
• Distributor/Leveler
• Puck screen
• Bottomless portafilter for tamping

With this station, your espresso workflow stays neat and efficient, ensuring that all essential tools are always within reach.

Two Variants for Different Printing Preferences

To accommodate different printing setups, this model comes in two variations (both provided as STEP files for easy customization):

Variant 1: One-Piece Design

• Pros: No need for gluing, achieving a seamless final look.
• Cons: Requires supports, which can be tedious to remove (speaking from experience!).

Variant 2: Separate Lid Design

• Pros: No supports needed, making the printing process cleaner and easier.
• Cons: Requires gluing the lid onto the base.

Regardless of the chosen variant, the optional coffee bean decoration must be glued onto the station.

Printing Recommendations

• If your printer is prone to warping, use a brim to enhance bed adhesion.
• Successfully printed with PETG on a Prusa MK4S using the 0.2mm Structural Preset in PrusaSlicer.
• Used 15% infill with 3 perimeters for optimal strength and durability.
• The underside features recesses (26 mm) for anti-slip adhesive stickers (25 mm), improving stability on smooth surfaces.
