Description
10 inch racks are great for homelabs. However, it's annoying to have to buy extra hardware in the form of M6 nuts and bolts if all you're going to mount are some desktop switches and raspberry pi's.
These printable screws are printed flat for higher strength, and then folded into the final shape before mounting.
NOT suitable for racks with square mounting holes (more commonly found on 19" racks but there are 10" models too). Thread pitch is set to 2 mm to make the screws easier to print, and as such will not work with standard m6 hardware (1 mm pitch).
Obviously these screws aren't as strong as steel, but they should be plenty strong for a few kgs load, especially if your shelves mount to both front and back rails.
PLA @ 0.2mm, 3 walls and 50% infill.
Check out the original model that inspired this remix. These thumb screws work really well in the rack rails with nut slots.
