Motorola 68040 CPU Fan Holder

This is a fan holder for the Motorola 68040 CPU for use in Apple Macintosh computers.

This bracket is designed to hold both a Noctua NF-A4x10 fan which is a 40mm x 40mm x 10mm fan and a 40mm x 40mm x 11mm heat sink sandwiched together. The heat sink sits on top of the CPU and the fan sits on top of the heat sink, and this bracket holds the fan onto the CPU.

I have attached a second file which is 1mm shorter in height to work with heatsinks that are only 10mm in height.

Note that this model is intended to be used with the little brown rubber bumpers removed from the Noctua fan. This model holds the fan where those little bumpers were.
