Description
This is a fairly simple stitching pony that is fully 3D printer, no hardware required, but you're probably better off buying a wooden one for like $20. This one only allows for clamping of small projects, like wallets.
This is the first iteration of this design and it has some issues, for example the bolt that holds the clamp vertically is not keyed so it takes some effort to tighten it, and same thing for the one that holds the clamp shut. If you decide to print this, be warned that it's not perfect.
You will need to print one of each part and 2 nuts.
The main clamp is made of two pieces that need to be printed together to form the hinge. Use supports, you'll need to clean them up with tweezers. If you're not sure your printer is capable, you can try printing the hinge tester first.
The bolts are split in half and are meant to be printed laying down for strength. There's also a corresponding dove tail-like piece to hold them together after printing.
