Best effort attempt at recreating an Owala water bottle model now with color changes. I used the specs from the website and my own bottle.
I've successfully printed the lid base and bottle models but don't have a nice camera setup to take many clean looking photos. If you are willing to help out by uploading pictures of your makes I'd really appreciate it!
Bottle
- 15% infill
- No Supports
- 0.15 Layer Height
- New color options
- “owala” written on the side of the bottle
- Important! Align the seam on the back of the bottle opposite the logo.
Lid Base Only
- 15% infill
- Organic/Tree Supports Everywhere
- 0.2 Layer Height
- If you print at a very small scale, consider adding a brim/raft as I had trouble with the small pieces not adhering to the print bed.
- New color options
- Button to open the lid
- Two piece lid for color change at seam above “owala” logo
- Important! Align the seam at the back of the lid.
Lid Complete Set
- I also included a file with the lid, spout cover, and handle all in one file named “Complete Set”. I haven't tried to print this myself yet, but I imagine it will create a lot of waste and the results won't be as clean as printing the parts separately. Enjoy at your own risk!
