Description
To create a versatile and functional turntable stand, I used IKEA’s SNUDDA Lazy Susan as the base (link). For the structure, I laser-cut two SKÅDIS-compatible panels from 5mm thick material, ensuring a perfect fit for my design.
A key part of the process was using the SKÅDIS Board Generator (link), which is an incredibly powerful and intuitive tool. It made it effortless to generate precisely scaled and customized SKÅDIS panels, significantly speeding up the workflow and ensuring a perfect alignment with my turntable dimensions.
The final design consists of two 3D-printed legs and a top piece. The top is specially designed with a slot where you can laser cut or 3D print your own logo and easily slide it in for a personalized touch. This modular and stylish setup brings both functionality and aesthetics to any workspace.
