Description
I purchased a digital magnifier / microscope (pictured) that is great for magnifying surface details of objects. The magnifier has a ring the correct height to hold the camera the exact focal distance from a surface that it rests on. This is great, except if that you want to examine is smaller than the ring (eg a coin, or a small printed sampe) - in that case, the magnifier needs to be positioned a little bit above the surface that the object is on, i.e. the camera needs to be a certain distance from the object, not the surface the object is on.
This is one solution. A base or platform that the magnifier can rest upon, which is adjustable to lower the sample into the focal plane. It's harder to describe than to see a picture. Just look at the photo :)
This is similar to the one I purchased https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007345598130.html
