Andonstar AD407 microscope extension bracket for Tomlov BR02 26cm post

The BR02 from Tomlov is made for larger microscopes that have 40 mm instead of 35 mm diameter, so the attachment to the post is 40 mm, but the attachment for the microscope is still compatible with the AD407.

All print parameters and required screws kept the same. To quote Sebastian:

"For mounting, you need 2x M4+ring+nut. You could use M5's to secure the microscope, but with my print, the fit was snug enough and not needed."

What I did: 
 

• Aligned the attachment to fit the new post/bracket 
• enlarged the thumbscrews for the microscope to m6, as the thumb screws from tomlov are larger 
• added a variant, where the attachment is not at the lens, like Sebastians version, but at the top end near the display, as the 26cm gives plenty of room to adjust the distance and makes it a bit more solid. 
• My extension distance is slightly more compact ( -9 mm ) to Sebastians version. If you want to keep the same extension as Sebastians design, just use the “60mm” variants.
