Description
Models to mount and store electronic components for my Flightradar24 Feeder. In my experience, the greatest range is achieved when the antenna cable to the SDR is as short as possible. Therefore, in my solution, the RTL BLOG is mounted directly below the active antenna. It is mounted on a 25mm outer diameter tube through which the USB cable and the power cable for the antenna injector are routed.
It turned out that the first enclosure size of 40mm square was a bit too small to hold the components while still allowing a reasonable bend radius for the antenna cables. So I made a second version with a 50mm size, which offers sufficient space.
