Makera Carvera StealthSonic Vacuum Bypass Adapter for 25mm Hose

I was surprised by how loud my 6 gallon StealthSonic vacuum was when I hooked it up to my Carvera CNC machine. It turned out that the immense increase in airflow through the Carvera's small corrugated tubing was generating more noise than the vacuum motor itself.

To both decrease the airflow going through the Carvera's vacuum hose while also allowing for the use of the StealthSonic for general cleanup, I created this adapter set. The primary component creates a ‘bleed air’ diversion for the StealthSonic's inlet allowing you to run a 25mm, or 1 inch, vacuum hose from the StealthSonic to the Carvera. The second component is a simple adapter to allow you to connect the 25mm vacuum hose to the Carvera.

Both parts were designed to be printed without support material. Material agnostic, optimized for 0.40mm nozzles.
