Sistema Ultra 460mL and 920mL Desiccator Rack

Needed a container to keep moisture sensitive material dry but didn't have silica gel packets laying around. This is best suited for use with loose silica or molecular sieve beads (dia. greater than 2mm).

There is a 3mm hole in the middle for a pan head M3 screw that you can use as a handle when removing the rack from the container without having to tip out all the contents. This screw can be screwed into the hole and recessed into the bottom space when not in use. Depending on your print settings you may need to clean up the 3mm hole with a 2.5mm drill bit. 

Rack height is 47.5mm and 37.5mm for the 920mL and 460mL container respectively. My recommendation is to fill the container with beads up to 90% of the rack height. You will need to fill the container with beads first, insert rack, invert the contents while holding the rack in place and jiggle the beads around until the rack feet touches the bottom of the container. 

Recommend using filter paper as a barrier above the rack when storing powder to prevent material from falling into the beads.
