Here is a simple desktop stand that holds the '74 at a pleasant angle for viewing the screen while it sits on your desk. The base is wide enough so it would be hard to knock it over. But it is small enough that you can still pick it up with the stand attached and talk.

Grabs by the slots on the battery and held in place by the belt clip. You can plug in the charger while on the stand.
