Description

This is what I think will be the final iteration of my cutting board rack which became a charging dock and just kept getting lighter until it's now on the edge of functionality.

I was going to say it's on the edge of printability too, but that's not the case - it can be (and I did) printed without supports.

If you are going to print it, and you want the best outcome, I suggest printing four of the clips (STL provided) which are a snug, but not tight fit.   Pause the print about half way up the first curve and clip one over each end as shown in the photo.  This will stabilise the tall end pieces which have not much contact area with the plate.

Once the print is at about two-thirds height, if you remove them and relocate on the angled “front” parts you'll stop them vibrating as the print gets taller.  (I didn't, hence the slight layer shift).

Or of course you could just give up and use supports - but where's the joy in that?

Once you've printed it, PLEASE don't use it to hold a tablet - it's fine for an array of phones, but it's a talking piece and not intended for seriously robust use.

Finally:  If you decide to try without support or brim (or using the supports provided above), be prepared to have a few failures!
